Icon5 Two-liners and red tags

Morning all.
I've been looking at some Sub 14060 full sets for sale (not on TRF) online recently and notice that some of them have the red COSC tag included, although the watches are only two-liners (so non-COSC). Is it safe to assume that these sets have been cobbled together to look as full as possible, or do ADs ever give out red COSC tags with two liners?

It is safe to assume that all "full sets" that you see on the Internet have likely been added to because of the extra profit most sellers feel they can make with very little investment.

The 14060M 2 liner (or any other non-COSC watch) should not have originally been packaged with a red COSC tag..

As I thought. Thanks Larry. So in these cases, the Red Tag is in fact a Red Flag. Cheers.

Red tags with non COSC watches

I have seen this ploy" many, many times and indeed it is a "red flag" I move on to the next advert immediately not matter how convincing the add may try to be. It just not worth the risk.

What you see is not always what you get.

Well you can mainly blame the internet and the many forums for the full set syndrome.

Ran into the same question just recently. Asked seller about it... And walked away.
