I truly hope they don't release anything new...I simply can't afford it!
However, I have a feeling they are going to introduce something with a rubber strap... |

Everything in recent memory that we've come to love or purchase was released at basel at somepoint...new glidelock, fliplock, ceramic, blue lume, LV, things like that....maybe not exciting but Rolex can still roll out some interesting and cool stuff. 2013 was a flop for me....some interesting talking points but nothing exciting for me as a customer. Patek was similar. But basel 2014, hell it might be exciting!
SIHH is also coming up sooner than later....hehe. I for one can't wait for the new rollout season to begin. |

I feel like they knew sales wouldn't be "booming" for this one due to it's price tag... I don't know if the color combo was that much of a deal breaker at a 70K price tag... Lol

I'm not sure we will see anything very buzz-worthy out of Rolex at this year's Basel. 2015 is their 100th anniversary (under the Rolex banner) and I'd expect anything major will be geared towards release next year, like maybe a whole new model. In any event, if anything huge does get introduced this year I'd predict even bigger and better things for next year.
