16613 vs 116610LV
I am thinking about the 16613 or 116613.
I saw on bob's watches, and there are multiple versions of 16613. The one i like is the blue dial with 2 tone gold. Also, are there any major diff between a 116613 and a 16613? I am also thinking of the 116610LV. Want to know your opinion which one you would pick and why Current collection: Milgauss GV, DateJust, Pepsi, and panerai, omega, and others. I dont have anything green or blue. |

I like green and steel and new bracelet/clasp and ceramic insert over blue and TT and old bracelet/clasp and aluminum insert, so LVc (by a lot) for me. YMMV. Good luck with the choice!

I had a Hulk and loved it at first, but the green got really old really fast. I ended up flipping it for a 16613 in 90 days. 5 months later, I would make the trade again.

16613 ,,, its a classic , not spoiled by oversized fashion styled case .. just simple sleek and pure , like a race horse ,,,
but others will argue the other way ,,, try both and see. if its the 16613 , late model with gold thru clasp is a huge difference and sel i had ym hands on mine ,, best of all worlds , in my view. the lv is a different animal altogether though ,,, |

As someone mentioned above, green might get too old too quickly.
Also dpeends on where you are coming from and how old you are. For me, the TT Bluesy reminds me of my teenage years...I remember its pic in the magazines...so I bought it. THe new ceramic rolexes do not do anything excitng for me. If you like clasic style, go for the 16613. You can never go wrong with it. It is a beautiful watch indeed. Ceramics, you can pick up anytime. If you are a modern ceramic Rolex guy, then go for the hulk. But so much green can get a little boring. Overall, the Hulk is a more modern watch. |
