Submariner bracelet question
I love the older submariner 16613 in blue. I think most will agree the dial is mesmerizing. However, the bracelet is not near as nice as the new bracelet with the glidelock clasp on the new subs 116613. Are the bracelets interchangeable? Is there a way to put the new bracelet on the older sub and make it fit on the older sub 16613? Or at least it change the clasp on the older bracelet to the new glidelock clasp? Just wondering if it could be done. Don't really care for the blue dial on the new ceramic sub. It is nice but I don't think it is near as nice as the older blue dial. Thanks for your insight.

Yes, I believe they're interchangeable, but expensive and difficult to source. Check the FS section, they pop up from time to time (at least in SS, haven't seen them in TT yet)

double check the new 116613, I believe they made a dial change to the sunburst, it's not flat anymore

I think I remember someone saying that just the bracelet for an all stainless ceramic Sub was about $1800. A TT would be much higher.

Putting modern bracelets on the older watches from the recent past never really did anything for me. Sell the Sub you have now and buy the new one. That said, if I had a classic, I'd keep it...
