WG Sub

i was at the AD today let me tell you for this people that have not seen the WG sub in person. What a watch it is. it makes the statement for sure. I loved it they offers me 25K for it my question is would you tread 3 SS rolex for 1 Grail piece?

would you sell GMTll c LN & poler 42mm, daytona. for the WG sub? here are some wrist shots.Name: securedownload-40.jpg

I know most here will say no but I would as that is a great special daily wearer and as I have said before you take that home the rest get no wrist time!
Would be awesome!!
The weight look and feel of WG, and it's a sub!!

That's a tough call. But I think Tom makes a great point, if you were to keep all three SS pieces and bring home with WG Sub, the others would probably get no/minimal wrist time. I've grown to really like this piece a lot and it looks great on you! I vote yes, go for it! Keep us posted on your decision.

I would not do that. 3 for 1? I would check with the respected sellers here first to see how much you could save with them. I did what you are thinking of doing right now and at the end, I regreted that decision. WG blue Sub is beautiful, but to let go of a GMT IIC, 42mm Polar, and a Daytona? My advice is a NO emphatically.

Tough call... as much as i like the white sub, i would trade 3 for 1. If it was the yellow gold GMT2c with green dial, be a different story for me.

That's a great price for an AD. Is it new or used?

that looks used due to lack of stickers (based on pictures taken)

Not 3 for 1. I like my existing watches too much. I get attached. I would have to save up.

I would do it if the values made sense. You only live once and that's a heck of a watch

For you, I'd suggest keep the Daytona and ditch the rest. You're either going to love the gold GMT or the gold sub, I doubt a steel one will get any time out once you had the gold sub.
Rare for folks to bother with both gold GMT and sub, aside from some of our more notable members!

Trading multiple watches for a grail piece makes sense to me. For example, I have a fixed amount I can spend on watches which I cannot exceed. It makes sense for me to trade what I currently have for a piece otherwise unobtainable. If you no longer love those 3 pieces and the WG Sub is your grail, then I'd go for it. It's a beauty.
