I struggle to see the issue with the supposed mismatched dial/bezel. This seemed to be the same as some of the old 16613's with the purple colour in the dial and not on the bezel plus the current 116610LV "Hulk" yet most seem to rave about these mismatched colour combo's. I suppose it is great to have so many options

To me the sunburst blue dial is the nicest looking dial of any submariner

I agree. Maybe I'm not as particular as some, but a perfect match just isn't that important to me since the dial is always changing color anyway depending on how the light hits it. The bezel is simply not going to match the dial in all lighting conditions unless the bezel changes colors in unison with the dial - which of course isn't the case.

Don't think it's just the colour match -- it's the contrast of finishes that are wrong to me. Sunburst dials are great, when paired with a metallic blue bezel.

I like the sunburst one, it plays with the light.

The sunburst dial is now available on the 116618. Rolex has discontinued the flat blue dial on the TT and YG models. It still is the only dial on the WG. I still prefer the flat blue dial. |

It's also a matter of different opinions, Ben. Your sunburst tt Subc is truly beautiful. I, myself, went with the flat blue option. I like both but unfortunately can only have one.
