I am not keen on the maxi dial on both. What I'm doing therefore is putting a LV insert on my 16610. Best of all worlds.
any pics?

Soon, the insert is on its way from Italy.

Well hopefully, I made the payment yesterday.

I had the 3 models (16610, 16610 LV and 116610 LV) in my hands a couple of months ago at Ponti's and went for the 16610 for the reasons exposed above. Now it is stage 2 of my plan: getting a LV insert.

I have to agree that the LVC is an awful lot of green, but that's what I like about it. I bought mine lightly used from DavidSW here on the forum, so I saved a couple thousand from new - plus sales tax - and you can't tell the difference. I thought it might just be an "occasional" watch because of all of the green, but it's not. You really do need to see it in person to appreciate it.
