The white Daytona would make a nice partner for your Sub. I'm looking to add one in the near future.

White is pure class. Black is a bit more sporty at least in my eyes. White would be my choice.

Get the one that sings louder to you. The white never sang to me, so I went black and never regretted it.

Well above all else the wife likes the white... So looks like white it will be. The one I had originally in mind had way to low of amplitude and would need servicing so looks like the waiting game for a nice decently priced one.

Like them both and have owned both over the years. White was my favorite but much more difficult to read IMO

White by a mile:

1 I prefer the white Daytona (especially with all of the other nice black dial options Rolex offers)
2 variety. you already have a black dial/bezel watch.
3 box and papers
4 newer

I used to think I would go with a black dial on the Daytona, but over the years I have come to really prefer the White. Unless we are talking Panda, then all bets are off!

All bring equal black...I've just bought a white dial and it's beautiful but not singing to me, I used to have a black dial daytona so I'm going to buy another black dial, then decide which I'm keeping but I think it will be the black dial, classy, sporty, everything!!

White dial is easier to read in dim light.

In your case, white:
-gives you another dial option in the collection
-comes with papers

All things being equal, black.

[I]'ll go against the grain and say Black. I had a white and found it to be a bit hard to read in less than ideal light. Seems the hands blended in with the dial to much but YMMV.
