Thinking about a trade, opinions please...

I recently fell in love with the Rolex Daytona 116515 chocolate face.

I have a Panerai 372 and a AP ROO Panda on bracelet that I interchange daily. I will not get rid of my Panerai because it is the perfect daily on most occasions for me. I am thinking about trading in my 3 month old ROO for this Daytona. What do you guys think?

Any help or insights wold be appreciated.

If you love the Daytona, and won't miss the ROO, I would say go for it! I just traded 4 Breitling and a Tudor for an AP diver and I am not regretting it at all!:)

If you really want the Daytona then yes go for it. If you could swing keeping the Panda and adding the Daytona that is always best option. Tough choice and only you can decide! Cheers,

I really like Panerai however I would sell/trade and and keep the AP. AP and Rolex sounds nice. Best of luck!

If you don't mind both watches having straps, then, go for the switch. I'm not a huge Panda/bracelet fan. That Daytona will make for a great duo with the 372.

That being said, how about Diver on bracelet?

Is that an equal trade? That Daytona should be going for more than the Panda.

It would definitely be money on top from me to get into the Daytona.

Having two watches on straps is not an issue for me. My local AD just got one in so maybe I should just keep all 3....decision, decisions...

If you could keep them and still purchase the Daytona then do it! Better to have a variety if possible

Will the massive size difference bother you? The 42mm Panda wears IMO better than most watches. The daytona wears close to 39mm watch. I say NO to the daytona. Just my 2cents

Since the 372 covers the strap watch, you need a bracelet watch. Get a full gold AP or Rolex instead.

They are all classics on their own. I would say keep all 3, especially when you are able to do so buddy!

Good point, they wear very differently so if the Daytona feels OK then go for it.

Panda. That Daytona model doesn't do anything for me personally.

Wait three more months, then see if you still feel the same way about the Daytona...

Actually guys I went a whole different route altogether.

I loved the Daytona but I prefer a watch with a date. Also, it just felt a bit awkward to wear a watch that doesn't have the girth the ROO does and then I saw her....

The Sky Dweller 326135. I had to have her! So there it is, it should be here by Wed.

Thanks for everyone's input!

With a change in direction that quick, you probably should have given it some time to see if you really want it or if it is purely an impulse buy. Congrats nonetheless...

Fair enough, as I said I thought the size would be an issue but as you like the choco RG combo the SkyD makes sense, same reasoning for my choice also of the DD2 choco over the Daytona.
