Better perspective on the ROO 44 size
For those considering a 44 ... close ups are not very representative so I took a couple mirror shots.
This is not a "does it look good on me" thread (I know it does ) ... Just a reference on a 6.75 wrist. And an older shot from when I used to have the FC: FC looks at tad smaller but SS is much sharper (in my opinion of course).

It looks good but you have flat wrists right? So your wrists are like a 7.25. For a normal 6.75 this is too big.

You're very lucky it looks perfect on you, just a little too big for me.

Better perspective on the ROO 44 size
Wow. Thanks for posting Serg. I know you are not looking for compliments - but it does look darn good.
I have a flat 6.5" wrist...still unsure I could pull off a 44mm ROO though. A 39mm RO would hit the spot for me. :-) |

It's a big boy ... no question about it. My 2 cents for those that are on the fence is if you like it, go for it. You'll get used to the size after the initial shock if you are moving from something smaller.
We'll see how it feels long term but if you ask me today, it's the nicest piece I ever had (and I had a few).

Cool! I said I wasn't looking for "does it look good" opinions ... but it is always nice to hear anyway! Thanks chaps!

Very nice photos and watch. I have a 6.75" wrist but the 44mm feels too big on me.

Lucky you have a flat wrist - as I do - looks very good on you, even with a small wrist!
The 44s fitted me well, and I could just about get away with my Legacy (48mm), but my wrist is a little larger than yours at about 7 and an eighth. |

Thanks!
I've never really been a fan of chronos, but this one has my attention. Too bad it's way out of my league. The dealer probably wouldn't even take it out of the case for me. :)

I have found most AP dealers, especially the boutique to be very helpful and non pretentious. I really love the brand.

It looks fantastic. That just needs to be said.
I wish it looked that good on my 6.75" wrist. It made my 44mm Pam look small in comparison. |

The other place was like Fort Knox. A 350lb gentleman runnign security stood a foot and a half behind me the whole time I was looking. As soon as I made a comment about an Offshore being out of my price range, he suddenly lost interest in showing me anything else, but was happy to direct me to some "lower-end brands". But I'm sure all dealers are different.

If you are ever in FL, try the AP boutique in Bal Harbor and ask for David or Jonathan. Top shelf service.
... and good ole DavidSW of course!

Ha, yes I've sent David plenty of my money. Unfortunately I don't think he has a "try on before you but" program :)
