Had this wonderful 05' Colgin Tychson Hill Cab last night while wearing my YG YMII. What a wonderful treat this cab is and also quite different from the Estate IX blend I posted the other day. Cheers all,

Please don't throw away your money on JW Blue... It's average at best, and you could get a lot better whisky for the same price.

Nothing wrong with a good blend, but if you are spending that amount, you have better options.

I quite agree! I only buy single malts; but as for this bottle - it was a gift from a patient of mine :)

Oh, alrighty then.

I am pretty sure that is how most JW Blue is sold these days. People looking for a nice gift who don't know any better.

It is, however, a very nice gesture.

Which single malts do you prefer? I highly recommend Old Pulteney 17 or 21. Very underrated whisky in my opinion.
