Explorer 2(216570) stopped but then it just started again

So while at work today my explorer just stopped. I hadn't looked at it in a few hours and it stopped around 1pm. I noticed around 4:30pm. I gave it a solid wind and it did not restart. I was agravated but seeing as its It's less than a year old, it's still under warranty I didn't get extremely upset as I can just have my AD send it in for repair. But to my suprise it just started again on its own a little bit later. I reset it and it seems to be going smoothly. Should I still send it out for service if it's still running fine after a day or two? What could cause this to happen???

Inactivity

Any mechanical watch will stop while you are wearing it if you have not been active enough to wind it beyond what it needs to tick for a day.

In other words, if it takes 600 rotations to fully wind it, and it takes that much to run for a day, you are on balance.

If you only rotate the rotor 550 times a day, it will eventually run down where you are barely winding it enough to keep it ticking...if you are inactive for a short period of time, it will stop.

Winding it fully and it not starting immediately is common. Did you tap it or shake it lightly to break any torque-lock and get it going after winding ??

But the weird thing is I gave it a full winding this morning(part of the morning routine) then once I notice it stopped I gave it another full winding and it wouldn't start again no no matter how much I wound it. The I just looked down at it and it was working again like an hr later...

If it isn't working in accordance with what we know as "normal", have it looked at.
