I could go either but the decision would wait for a wrist shot.

Black definitely has more pop to it IMO. Either way, you can't go wrong. Good luck deciding.

Yes, I have been noticing this A LOT lately with Rolex watches. It definitely seems as though they toned down the magnification. Many of the latest serial number models seem to not have 2.5x date magnification and it's blatantly obvious the more and more pictures I see. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Silver would be my choice. But black is pretty nice too.

The black seems to "pop" more to me ......
I don't think there's a wrong answer, try them on, and go with your gut!

My vote is black. I find with the new bigger markers it pops better on darker color dials !

I was going to say silver for me. The white dial above, however, is my choice. The black seems more contemporary with white and silver feeling a bit more classic.

Of course, you can't go wrong with any choice.

I prefer the silver stick dial on the DJII. It looks terrific and so classy.

Blue or white for me, black is better on sports watches and silver too monochrome.

Blue!

I agree that there are a lot of sports watches with black faces, but very few with blue. Dark face so the white pops too.
