Digital pens - Pen enabled devices

Maybe I've missed the point of this section,
and its more to do with classic pens and they're aesthetic styles to compliment classic watches.

BUT

I was wondering if anyone had tried many Pen enabled devices,
such as tablets or phones, which you can write or draw on.

I mean, just like you might with a pen or watch,
you can still spend £400-800 on digital devices. So while they might not be as 'classy', they might still hit the same price range.

I have a Galaxy Note 2, and now draw on that now more than my 6 year old tablet laptop (HP 2710p) which i was even taking to the beach to paint landscapes.

Anyone had any experiences of these digital pens?

Personally I like paper to pen. I also like paper books, prefer hardcover, and don't download books or mags on-line.

I am proberly a dinasour in this regard.

Even though I own an iPhone and an iPad I have never used them with downloaded Apps. which use a stylus. Maybe someday I will check them out but for now I too am old-fashioned I guess and prefer writing with different types of pens and pencils.....

I have had a ThinkPad Tablet for about 5 years, I loaded the x200 out to the max and it ran about $3500. I only used the pen function a few times to take notes when I couldn't find my Montblanc quick enough. The x200 took a spill in late Nov-Dec 2013 and Lenovo just replaced it at no charge (first time an extended warranty has ever been useful) with a new X230T. The first time I have used its pen was today to post here. I love the ThinkPads and the touch screen is great, but I use my Montblanc Starwalker BP with Monteverde capless gel refill in blueblack every day.
