In August 2003, my father told me that if graduate boarding school and get into a top university, he would get me a rolex. Went to a major electronics retailer in Tokyo LOL not even an AD, they had the Rolex Explorer I. My father wore the sub all his life, but somehow it felt abit big on my wrist back then, so went for the Explorer I.

Fastforward to 2014, I still have it, it went strong until 2013, but I thought I better service it, even though it was running fine, had it engraved with my name and date that it was purchased on the back at RSC.

This one will stay with me till the end.

The BLNR, i recently bought with my sister as she came to visit me and she wanted to buy a watch also so made a deal.
