Icon6 Buddy Huguley Watch Clock Repair, Annapolis MD

Has anyone heard of this guy or had any work done by him? According to his website he is a certified and trained Rolex watchmaker and is located in Annapolis, MD. Like most of you I like to hear feedback, reviews or comments about a watchmaker and work he's done before I take my Rolex watches to him for minor stuff - bezel insert change on GMT II (Pepsi to Coke) and 16610 LV (green to black), and replace click spring on GMT II. Also having bezel changed on SMP GMT.

Any feedback would be appreciated. PM okay too. Thanks in advance.

No idea - but I live on the other side of the Bridge and would like to know about him myself. Please respond here if you do decide to move forward with him for your service.

I went to see Buddy a few weeks back and he is a great guy from talking to him as he shared a lot of great stories including how he became a Rolex certified watchmaker. I would suggest you visit him yourself and talk with him. He has a great selection of preowned rolex watches so its worth the visit. Also you may want to contact Justin aka Valentine as he is good friends with Buddy. Good luck.

I had my 16660 cleaned and serviced by him.

He had a competitive price and could do it fast. He's not Bob Ridley, but he sets the bar ridiculously high.

Justin knows him and has had all his watch work done there.

He works on my watches. I 110% recommend him. No worries with him working on Rolex.

he is fine, its a brick and mortar annapolis shop, I tried to sell him a few watches in the past, but he just gives lowball pawn shop prices, however, I hear he is a good Rolex repair center.

I had him service my datejust about 3 years ago. He uses aftermarket parts because I just heard back from Rolex saying they will NOT service my watch because it has non-genuine parts. After several calls to Rolex, I finally discovered Buddy Huguley is not certified by Rolex and does not recieve any parts from them.

I'm thinking of taking my watch to the well-reviewed place in Herndon for servicing (CW21 and a Rolex parts account), but will never be going back to Buddy. His website says "Buddy is Rolex and Tag Heuer trained and certified", well he is NOT CERTIFIED that's for sure.

If you google the owner, Dung Lam, you'll see a few positive stories from members on this forum as well. If you get a chance to stop by his shop, please let me know what he charges to service a watch. He claims he can't discuss service pricing over the phone, but I'm pretty sure he just wanted me to come in (because I remember calling a few years back and getting a price of around $300-400, it's probably higher now that he's become much more popular), which is a 50 min - 1.5hr drive depending on how traffic is around Tysons.

Ahh, ok, I have been in their shop, I just never really considered him for service since Tissot is about the highest end brand he carries. A cool little shop, just didnt even think about him servicing my stuff since he didnt have it.

But I'll look at him more closely.

Thanks.

The jewelry shop is not his business. I believe he was renting the back, and it looks like he moved to his own digs on West Street.
