What year did the glidelock was released

Need a like new watch possible a GMT Master II with a glide lock clasp.

My wife is bugging me to wear my DDII. She loves YG watches (thanks Michael Kors) so I figured I get a YG GMT II and share it. That glide lock is perfect for sharing watches. But I wasn't in love with a YG Sub C as much as I love the YG GMT II. Maybe if I find her a excellent condition DD for 8-10 grand?? Yes I'm a dreamer

I believe you are correct. It would have come out first on the gold ceramic Subs and DSSD when they were released.
