marring on band of explorer ii

Had my new explorer II for about 2 months love the look function and precision
Was looking at the band today noticed several marks where the brushed band had marks that looked like scratches which gave the appearance of smooth or removal of the brushed finish. They don't feel rough or gouged does the brushed finish come off that easily? I try to keep it under my shirt cuff as much as possible.

To me, this sounds like the typical swirles or desk diver scuffs a watch gets over time even with careful use. Can u post pics?

If it bothers you, consider picking up a Bergeron scratch pen.

hi and welcome. i would try to not look, as, eventually, these minor marks will all blend into a sort of patina. spot touch-ups risk to not help much, as, IMO, it's difficult to replicate rolex's brushed steel by hand, especially if you're not a professional.

Hi,
I have had mine for a while longer, and it just keeps on gathering more and more swirls, even though I am very careful..
It just happens, I guess, we just need to get used to it, and if it bothers you too much, you can have it polished, but the lesser the better...I just try not to think about it.

I see some of these in your future - that is, if you can't stop looking at swirlies

I used it to brush my custom end links, very economical and easy to use and get rid of swirlies
