seen a limited ed parker last night is it a good buy?

I am in Riyadh at the moment and was in a store last night when I was offered a very rare Parker Duofold Limited Edition Giant Medium Point Fountain Pen for 110,000sr approximately £18,300 which I think is a very good price the only other I have seen for sale arehttp://www.goldspot.com/Parker_pens/Duofold_Limited_Edition/1878698.html but that is priced at $35,000 usd approximately £21.840

Any thoughts?

Will you be signing $50,000 documents with it? If so, go for it!

While not familiar with the high end Parkers, if it were a Montblanc, I would say these pieces will be extremely difficult in reselling and if you're to ink it, the value will drop 30-40% right away. Your mileage will vary. :-)

Nice pens but tbh nobody cares about the newer parkers..You could buy it for your self satisfaction but I doubt there'd be any value in the long term with it. Go ahead and get yourself a nice Rolex Daytona with that money.
