SD/SDc
Help me out guys, I have a SubC and which of the SD/SDc would you choose to add to it?
Both brand new in box and price £1700 apart (SD cheaper of course) |

SDC in my book the glidelock clasp is just an amazing addition. I also like the ceramic look a lot =)

I have the SD and the SDC on order; if I had to choose, I'd struggle but would probably go SDC.

I would get the SDc but would look more at a GMTc or Daytona for more variation.

Well speaking for myself IMHO for what it is the the SDc is over-priced except for the ceramic insert and bracelet clasp its basically the same as the 16600.

You know which one gets the least amount of wrist time?? The 116660. Go with the 16600 rather than the ceramic unless you can go older (16660 or 1665)

SDC, the clasp is way better than the old ones, it's what decided me getting the subC in the first place, always liked Subs and SD's but had a problem with the old clasps, for me it was a big stopper, plus the ceramic bezel is nice...

No doubt some long term "stragetist" suggested discontinue the SD, wait a few years & then re-release for a lot more money |

SD/SDc
Thanks chaps, love the clasp on the SubC and could always swap it over to the SD of I wanted.
On the clasp, a guy at work has the BLNR, he loves it but it is forever moving around as he cannot get it to fit right. He was impressed by the one on my SubC, so it does make a difference. For the record I love all black faced/bezel Rolex Divers. |

If you already have the Sub-C, I would try to get something a little different. The SDc is to similar. I would go GMT, Daytona or EXP2, but if it has to be a SD, then vintage all the way.

I can see your point but I find in the UK the vintage market is a minefield and I do like owning new. Not a Daytona or EXP fan. |

Have the 16600 and will add the 116600 eventually when prices come down after the initial hype.

Seadweller (SD), naturally! Then again, I'm biased.
