Hi,

I take most of my photos these days using my iPad. For me, the three main things are: get the lighting right; make sure you've got the focus on the exact parts of the watch you want most in focus; and when taking the shot, make sure the device and the watch both stay as still as possible. Particularly for the iPad (which has no flash of its own), motion is the biggest thing that tends to ruin a photo, I've found. The iPhone has a far better camera than the iPad, but I'd think these tips (light, focus, no movement) are probably the main things to bear in mind.

How do you take good Rolex pictures

I do a lot of horticultural photography, and I have a basic setup, as shown below:



I vary the backgrounds and change the angle of the light source, but it all produces a good result.

I also use a pop up light tent that allows me to create different results as well.

OP, just practice and keep a steady hand. Moving can make or break a picture's focus.
