So when I saw this exclusive limited edition of 500 pieces in the local boutique last month, there can only be one outcome. A timely Christmas gift to myself :)

The slate grey sunray dial and indices on the dial are beauties to behold. Would prefer 100m WR and size of 40mm given my small wrist. Well, this is still as close to the perfect luxury sports watch IMHO.

Enough said, here's the pic

Thanks Patrick, it is because of this topic I started looking for this model.
Luckily I too was able to secure one of the 500.

Also thanks to Bruno for trying to get me one locally.

A month or so ago I felt the time was right to buy an other nice watch. Had my eye on several brands.

Rolex, Breitling, IWC, JLC and a few more were in the running. But when I saw this one here and learned I had a change of still getting one I just had to have it.

What a sublime piece ! And for what you get not expensive at all. Zenith is very underrated at the moment and a true bargain.
Beautiful watch! I'm very interested in one but have 2 'issues' with the design; 1st, the stars at 10:00 & 2:00 & 2nd, the star of the central seconds hand potentially covering the moonphase. Admittedly, these are issues only apparent to me in pics as I don't have a local Zenith AD. I'd love to hear from you both as to your thoughts on these design 'choices'.

It seems the stars bother many on these and other forums. In reality they are just a nice touch and certainly not 'in your face'. They are so positioned as to replace the hour markers at 10 and 2. Furthermore this is a model celebrating the original. The original had these stars too.
If you do not like the stars the regular model that just came out (silver dial) doesn't have them.

The slate dial, however, 'makes' this watch.

The chrono hand covering up the mp is irrelevant to me. I do not car for the mp (on this watch, it's very small) and if you do just let the chrono run.

case height : 12.75 mm

Agree with Denis On the moonphase.
How many of us track the moon position anyway :p

It is a beauty, I have 107/500, as previously mentioned they are vastly under appreciated, Zenith as a brand though is on the up.

To the OP--the watch looks good. For the future reference, that size is definitely your limit though, at least based on the picture.

Zenith is dramatically under appreciated. I have no idea why, as their watches, especially the chronos, are stunning.
