Only time will tell! If he can manage to ressurect a Rolex moonphase timepiece or perpetual calander then his appointment will be a success... Other than that it just seems like another corporate shell game.

As long as he doesn't do a "very special" Sellita-powered model as he did at Zenith (although, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and blaming that on LVMH).
