Longest Your Collection Has Stayed As-Is
I always see a lot of flipping, buying, and selling on here, which is what I would expect to see on a watch forum.
Out of curiosity though, since you bought your first "high end" watch, what is the longest your collection has stayed as-is? Meaning no additions, subtractions, mods, or trades. For me, it was 8 months. I bought my first Rolex in January last year, and then bought my second one in August; which started a mini fury of buying, selling and trading. |

For me, it's always the Submariner 16610. Bought in 2007.

None , I had a Submariner which I sold after 1 year of wearing so. Now I own a new ceramic GMT for almost a year. But I think I won't flip that one. Instead I'll buy a sub one day to enrich my collection.

Closing in on two years (or a little over a year if you count a Swatch). Dreaming of adding is enough for now. :-)

The last purchase was a week ago Wednesday which arrived on Friday last; I'm hoping to keep it as it is for a while (years).

From 1996 to 2012. Then I found this site.
It has been downhill ever since.
