This (these) for that question. Would you?
I know it really comes down to buy what sings to you. Easy enough... right?
But have been thinking a lot of the new Milgauss GV with blue dial. I have the white dial version and like it a lot. Have 2 DJs at the moment a TT fluted jubilee stick silver dial and a oyster smooth blue Roman shown below. Also have a 36 and 39mm Explorer. Really am undecided and welcome your thoughts as this appears to be a 3 way trade. Thinking of trading this; and this (ceramic); Plus cash 1500 to $2K for this; Also have some subs in the collection, but only one other Omega. Speedy pro, sapphire sandwich. Don't worry about losing the DJ as the GV will fill the void nicely, but giving up the SMP-C plus 1500 to 2K in cash as well... Hmmmm. just not sure. Pros and Cons? Your thoughts? All this is in preparation of course, would not be able to land a GV for awhile anyway. Thanks, Mark |

JMO but I would NEVER let go of that DJ. I LOVE it! But if it's not for you then maybe it's time to move it on. As far as the rest of the trade goes, I wouldn't do it. Seems like a lot of watches and cash for the GV (which incidentally I love also). The Seamaster can go as your Subs fill that void and that watch never "sang" to me anyway. My vote, don't do it, since you asked . But I REALLY like that DJ so I'm pretty biased.

Instead of the DJ, why not one of the Explorers?

Seems quite a lot to give up but if I really wanted a watch I would do it so if you really want the Milgauss then go for it, yolo.

I would. I let go of a wave dial Seamaster once. I miss it from time to time, but not that much.

Thanks for the opinions. As no rush, will probably give it some more thought. Maybe wear the dj and smp to see if that will help.
I guess the 39 mm explorer would be a close substitute for the blue face gv. |

Here's the way I see it. Two older models plus a little cash for one brand new Basel release from Rolex? I'm in 100%. I've traded two for one once. It was 2 SS models for a 116613lb. Never regretted it then and still don't and never will. One of the SS models was a 214270 that I didn't wear much so I didn't miss it. Plus the SubC LB is one of my most frequent wearers other than my Daytona. Go for it!!!!!! Besides you can always get one of the ones trading a whole lot easier than the Milgauss if you start to miss it

I'd do it. The blue dial GV is definitely growing on me. Can't wait to see it in person.
