Actually, I posted those Submariner ads on TURF a while back, and then they ended up on TZ. That's what JJ is talking about. I have hundreds of Rolex ads that I keep in binders.

Jackie Stewart, on the other hand, was a great rep for Rolex.

On that note, when Rubens Barichello was driving for Jackie and pulled off a podium finish at Monaco, some years ago (which to say was an inspired drive is a huge understatement... it was proof Rubens could drive fast, before he became MS's whipping boy)... anyways, dear old Jackie, Rolex man to the end, gave Rubens a white dial SS Daytona.

I also remember a stir some years ago when MS's wife was allegedly spotted at an F1 race wearing a white SS Daytona. This is unconfirmed as I never saw the pic and figured she had to be wearing a white dial Speedy, since MS if VERY cogniscent of the importance of his sponsorship contracts.
