Time Adjusting Myths .....
Folks,
This is regarding my sub and SD .... if I notice my watch is running slow then can I just undo the crown and adjust the time without worrying when I pull the crown, the positions of the 3 hands? and which direction I move the hands to adjust the time? I have seen some videos where people says that to adjust time, you gotta wait till seconds hand crosses 12 and never go counter clockwise.. it is bad for the watch Any truth to these time adjusting myths? thnx |

You can adjust the time of your SD at whatever time you feel like and also in whatever direction (CW or CCW), no harm would be done to the movt.
Halting the second's hand when it reaches 12 is just practical when syncronising the watch with another time source.

Yes, on some watches you'd wanna avoid doing this but on the modern quickset Rolex watches you can adjust the date during those hours without harming the date mechanism.
