Tudor Sub Crystal Cyclops opinions please...

Hello All...

I just got my Tudor Sub back from service and the cyclops is crooked (to my eyes). What do you all think??

Would you go through the trouble of having it corrected or just leave it alone and enjoy?

Thanks for your opinions in advance

Thanks for the response, but I was just trying to get others opinions on if they think it's straight enough. I understand it's mine that matters most, but sometimes as we all know we are a bit over exaggerated when it comes to seeing issues with our watches.

Also, as the saying goes "sometimes it's better to leave well enough alone." Because as we all know each time a watch is opened there is potential for other issues or even the watchmaker "straightening" the cyclops may never be 100% spot on especially since I am not speaking directly to him.

You can make it look better but you have a 127 when you should have a 125 or 126 crystal I believe. The eta movement has the date window in a different position from a Rolex movement. So the Rolex crystal is going to be off a bit. Go dome or source a Tudor top hat.

x2 - this; the date window is nearer the centre of the dial than the 'cyclope' lens. A 125 would be better

Thank you for the clarification!

My watchmaker probably used a Rolex Crystal as you state since he primarily services Rolex. Will a Rolex dome crystal with no cyclops (like the one for a 5513) fit my 79090?

Also, where can I source a proper Tudor crystal and or who could install me a proper super dome crystal?

Thank you again for the info!!

If he can get a 127 he should be able to get a 125. Yes, a t19 will fit.

My Tudor sub is like this. Rolex plastic and not the Tudor. I like it, but it's also crooked by a fraction. If it's passed a pressure test and you want to swim w her, I would leave it. Remove and reinstall may damage it. Nice watch buddy
