Finish on Sub dial?

Any input as to what the lettering on Sub M/Z series is actually applied with?

At certain angles the lettering has a raised appearence and the same finish as the white gold indices surrounds. It appears too perfect for even stamped paint application. Is it metalic/wg?

Not sure. Would love to see a video or something on how they paint or apply the lettering / text...

I've heard of errors so, may be by hand....

The dial printing reminds me of the raised printing on "engraved" stationery.

It's certainly not printed. I doubt, however, that the dials are painted by hand. They're machine painted in some way, I'd say.

Some sort of laser machine printing I believe, sure would take a very long time if the dials were all hand painted, well it would for around 1000000 dial plus a year.
