I was dead set on the GV when I walked into the AD three years ago. I put it on my wrist, and I said "meh".
I went with the black, and I love it. :) |

I work for an estate jeweler (large pre-owned Rolex inventory), and personally really like the Milgauss GV and white dial Milgauss. I currently wear the GV model, and really enjoy it. In my experience, the black dial with the clear crystal has been a tough sell. Meanwhile, the GV and white dial models are still in high demand (at least in my experience).
I apologize for not having a pic, but my phone recently went for a swim. I had a nice "custom" Milgauss not long ago...It was the white dial version, and I just so happened to have an original GV milgauss crystal laying around. Needless to say, the crystal ended up on the white dial milgauss...pretty cool |

My AD in the UK also told me black dial Milgauss is being discontinued.
If this turns out to be the case I wonder what impact it will have on re-sale value over the next couple of years? |

I thought the white dial had been discontinued... seem to a remember a thread on here several weeks ago
The non-GV black dial is my fave Milgauss by far

As it's been a few months, can anyone confirm if the black dial MG is being discontinued? If it is discontinued, what will that do to the value? Thanks!

It's gone from the latest catalogue. I posted pics of the relevant pages here a couple of times, but can't find the pic on my phone now. Must have deleted it. It will probably become collectible over time, but not soon. There's a reason it was discontinued. I suspect the white one will follow next year.

Thanks for the information Adam. I happen to agree about the black being discontinued and the white not far behind. The vast majority of MG's seem to be the GV. I love the black, so I'm ok with them discontinuing it, assuming I get mine first!

Somebody here got a good deal on the black Milgauss recently from a major AD...I think it was about 25% off. I suspect there are quite a few ADs with blacks long on the shelf that they would like to shift now that it is discontinued.

Sounds like my timing is perfect! Although I'll be buying from the forum. I've gotten much better information and informed opinions on here than my AD.

I'd shop around. This in one watch (probably the only one) that you might just find cheaper at an AD than on the Forum.

It's been rumoured for about that long, but nobody outside of Rolex knows when the last one dropped off the assembly line, or when the decision was made. The Feb 2014 was the first piece of hard(ish) evidence that I saw.
