Normal for the Watch to Come to Life?

Quick question. Its kind of weird to be honest with you.

My watch died Thursday night. Got really lazy in the morning and just wore a dead watch on friday (started at 8am). Around 11am the watch came alive from im assuming my wrist movement. I took off the watch around 7pm. I don't have a extraneous job where I am moving alot but with that being said, I guess the "winding time" was from 11am-7pm. 95% sure that the watch wasn't even remotely fully wound just from wearing it. At least at my job.

I took a trip Friday night which consisting of leaving my watch at home. So all day saturday and sunday it was unworn. The next time it was worn was today at 8am. Oddly enough though, the watch was running when I picked it up

I thought the power reserve was 44 hours (subc) so the watch should have def been dead. Is this normal?

Let me understand you wore a watch that was not running? Then three hours later it came to life. Autowind caught up.

That was a classic

OP: maybe it died on Sunday and the elves came out to help you wind it. Date or non date?

-_-

Yeah, I was planning on winding it in the morning but ended up running late. Next thing you know, the day passed by and it was reading 11 at 6pm.

My only question is how it could be running after it wasn't worn from Friday 7pm to Monday 8am. The power service should have def been empty by then.

Correct. It's an automatic watch. Wrist movement winds the watch. Or am I missing the question here?
