GMT II C Screen Saver

You wanna know something scary. I few days ago I downloaded the GMT II C screen saver from the Rolex website. I am sitting here at my computer on the phone and it comes on. The second hand is sweeping and the date of the watch is today and its the exact time of day. Did any of you know that?

I love the Blue Sub screen saver, too. I can tell the time from across the room when I'm busy!

i believe it uses a script that runs off your computer set time. so nothing new here. nice screensaver nonetheless

It's pretty funny that it's my screen saver as well.

I took mine in a little different direction,

I edited the registry of my computer. My computer
automatically goes to a time server twice a day
instead of once a week.ANAL HUH?

This ensures that the wonky computer clock is right.
My screen saver is not ALWAYS exact to my watch
but usually only a very few seconds off.

P.S. I don't really know if it's supposed to work like that
but often it's dead on

When you go on to Rolex's website you set your own time zone. That sets that watch to show the actual time and date in your time zone. I believe it is actually set to the atomic clock it is so accurate.

It's awesome.

i think set to your computer clock...change your computer's clock and the GMTII-c's time will change. check it out.
best, dan

Yes, the clock is accurate because it is synced to the internal clock on your computer. Whatever time your computer says, the watch will say as well.

I want an Explorer II screen saver.

Got the screen saver before I got the watch (Jul 07), was bummed that the SS is only for PC and not Mac. Only had the screen saver at work, at home I have the GOLD (yuk) GMT on the Mac.

Question. Sorry if it's a dumb one. My green 24 hour hand does not match the green hand on my GMT II C Rolex screen saver. The time and date match but not my 24 hour hand. What gives, should I be concerned about this? I set my watch as per recommendations but could use some advice. Thanks.....Mark
