Paul McCartney

Ok, just checked into my hotel in Albany NY and headed over to the arena to see Sir Paul McCartney in concert tonight! This is Paul's first appearance since getting the flu(?) in Asia and canceling his remaining events there.
This is a "bucket list" event for me and I am stoked. I bought the tickets a little over a week ago off of Craigslist. I bought them long distance and do have just a very mild concern about their authenticity. I have no reason to suspect that they are anything but legitimate, but you never know. I'll let you know in a few hours I guess!
Assuming all goes well, and that is what I'm assuming, I'll report back to you tomorrow.

Best of Luck with the tickets! I bought Pink Floyd tickets from Craigslist and they were fake! Got turned away at the door... Paul McCartney concert should be awesome.

Sorry to hear that. It happens, and if it happens to me I'll deal with it.

Nice! I had the same seats, except they were like a thousand feet higher and as much back, in the 90s, in Minneapolis.

Still a great concert!

Enjoy John, this was a bucket list item for me as well. I since seen him twice, once a couple of years ago in Vegas, then again in Indy last year.

He doesn't sing them all, but he does a pretty good job of getting most of them in with the three hours he plays.

Metrodome in 1993? Remember that concert well! Seeing him at Target Field in August. Always puts on a great show, does Sir Paul!

Last time I saw him in concert was 1964 in Stockholm and wasn't very impressed by the perfomance.

I later on slightly changed my mind.

Great show last night! I've wanted to see Sir Paul for so long I worried that he couldn't live up to my unrealistic expectations and memories of him with John, George & Ringo.
Fortunately I was wrong. Paul exceeded expectations in every way. He played for 2-1/2 hours, non-stop, and cranked out his hits while mixing in 3 songs from his new album (which sounds very good, btw). Obviously this man loves to perform, he certainly doesn't need the money.
Best concert I've ever been to. I'm a happy guy today.

Great pics. Glad you had a great experience. As for craigslist I won't do that now that most tickets are e- tickets printed out on white paper and can be copied over and over and sold. Last year we bought tickets from a very reputable broker for the Who and my ticket had some guy's name on it. They were legit but it made me think.
