New life to a old Datejust - Mercedes hands

Hey Ya'll,
Been years since I've been active in watches.. so here is my first post in years.

First - it sux to get old - my eyes are not what they used to be. I pulled my Datejust out of the safe, and took it to my watchmaker, to maybe sell it. It had a silver dial, and silver DateJust hands. I just could not read it any more. He tossed in a blue dial, and installed a set of Mercedes hands. I can tell time on it again!!!! Love the new look - it's like having a new watch. - Mark

I'll have to look up the year for the Datejust, but I believe it was 1990. The movement is a 3135 ( I think), same as the submariner for that time frame. They are submariner hands.

Very good to know that sub hands fit the DJ. Jocke had a pic of a DJ he modified using yachtmaster hands.

Congrats
I know what it's like I'm legally blind but I love Rolex so much
My Exp II with black dial is perfect because of the contrast between the black dial and the whit markers and hands...
