Wearing a high end watch, like a Rolex, at a young age (i.e., below 30) makes one unapproachable? A young person does not/not have to earn the right to wear a high end watch for a variety of reasons. I was about 10-12 y/o when I was gifted a Seiko auto watch and in those days that was a high end watch, esp for a kid, and no other kid on our block even owned a Timex. I didn't have to earn the right to wear that watch. Besides who are you to judge when one is "all that". Majority of the workforce on earth started out working for somebody, so no relation to having/wearing a high end watch.

Flaunting wealth at a young age, especially when many folks in your age group are still looking for a decent job, may send a wrong message and I would avoid it. But hey feel free to do anything you want.
