Seadweller sdc in uk ad window plus my thoughts..

Got the chance to try on the new rolex seadweller sdc as one in the shop window goldsmiths Liverpool. There was also a submariner date along side it so tried both on to compare.

Found the seadweller wears and feels too small for my liking, where as the submariner feels and wears larger. Think the lugs give the impression of a larger watch.

Have gotten used to my dssd over past few years after initial issues so whilst I'd like a second watch the seadweller sdc is no longer on my radar. The submariner is an option and with a lower price tag at £5700 it certainly presents better value.

At £6900 the seadweller is on the expensive side compared to submariner...

Come for a holiday in HK. Someone posted that an AD here was offering the SDC for about 5,300 quid a couple of weeks ago. That's partly due to the strong pound.

I agree and thats what I first thought. Now go back and try the SDC alone without the Sub around and you'll love it more

The 116600 sits a little higher on the wrist but it looks smaller on the wrist than the 114060.
