Difference between men's DJ and Ladies?

Hello-

I have a quick question. I have a SS DJ that I bought new 11 years ago and just couple of weeks ago bought my wife a brand new DJ with diamonds on the markers. What I have noticed is that to advance time I have to rotate my crown clockwise however on my wife's watch it's opposite. To change time (advance) I have to rotate the crown counter clockwise. Does anyone know why it's different between hers (31mm) and mine (36mm)?

.

36mm DJ uses movment 3135 when 26mm and 31mm DJ uses 2235.

Different caliber, different behavior. It's the way it is.
