My Rolexes - something a little different
Hi - great forum this. I'm amazed at the passion & some of the incredible collections (and also general forum politeness)! Don't know how I could have missed this for so many years.
Attached my two beloved Rolexes: 1) My 20-year old Explorer II (1994). Note the blacked out 24-hand. The bright red irritated me like a bull! I have owned this from new and love it. 2) A 40-year old 1803 in YG (1974). Right now it has a blue strap in sharkskin. My wife bought me the watch for our engagement (got to love her for that). It came renovated with all papers and a black croc strap .. though I prefer this one. For me, the white dial is a somewhat unusual combo and a great contrast to YG. cheers |

Welcome here, the black 24hr hand is different for sure. Never seen it before. Good of you to make it your own
