Will the previous Explorer II dial fit the newer model case?

Hi all,

I have a spare Explorer II dial (black) and matching hand set as I switched it for a white dial and hand set. I was wondering if these would fit the new, and bigger, Explorer II model?

Thanks for your expert input.

Andrew

Nope as Alpino says the dial on the 42mm version is larger as well as the case size so there is no way to get it to fit I'm afraid.

You're referring to the case size, but we talk about the dial size (as an exemple all 36mm DJ/OP/DD use the same dial size as the 40mm Sub/Gmt/YM and even 44mm SDDS).

Yeah, I wasn't as clear as I could have been.

Cool. Was wondering as a friend has a new model and I thought he may like the option to swap out.

Thanks
