Saying Hello
Hi all
Been browisng here for a while. and wanted to jump in! I am in the automotive business, and a big watch enthusiast. I just got my first Rolex, a Sub, no date, and absolutely love it! For me there was no question in getting this model. My father has always worn one, and I knew my first Rolex had to be exactly like the very one I stared at every day growing up. I don't know the forums views on listing our other watches, and hope it isn't interprited as bragging, but I am also the proud owner of a Cartier Roadster, and Corum Bubble as well. I am very active on a HUMMER forum, and I hope to capitalize on my Rolex Enthusiasm here. And by the way, I have already caught the "sickness". As we speak I'm trying to figure out how to "unload" my other two wathces so I can get the TT Rose gold DJ Turn o'graph with Jubilee Band I so covet. Phil, welcome to TRF and very glad you have jumped in. Great choice on the watch and the others too. No worries about the brands here, most love at least a Rolex, but most love alot of different brands too, see my avatar.
Glad to have you here, stick around and join the fun.

Welcome Phil. Thats a great watch you got there One of my favorites, beautiful and classic. Stick around, you'll find this place to be almost as addictive as the watches themselves.

Welcome, Phil...great watch you have there. Now you have a genuine excuse to lean over some of the sexier colleagues and ask them the date.
...or for a date!!

Let me add my welcome to TRF, Phil. As the others have said, we are very democratic and eclectic in our watch tastes. Don't ever feel shy about sharing your collection. And you must find a way to post pics. We live for them here.
From your first few posts, it looks like you will fit right in here. Which is great. We're always looking for more misfits to populate the madhouse here. So welcome aboard and keep posting.

Hi Phil and welcome. Thanks for clarifying you are in the auto biz... based on your username, I thought you were a 'nut' for the other kind of hummer (aren't we all? ).
So what are the two watches you want to dump? |

thanks for all the welcomes
I have a Cartier Roadster, and a Corum Bubble which although I love, don't seem to appeal to me as much as that Two-tone dj tog in pink gold with the jubilee band does. |

I love it when others state what they have in their collections, and this is the place to do that kind of thing.
Congratulations on the No Date Sub, that is one the best ever. President Rolex |
