What does 'F' serial indicate??
I am looking at an 'F' 2005 Serial submariner. I don't know what the 'F' indicates. Does it imply other features that would not otherwise be present?

Welcome to TRF
That this watch produced from 2003 until March of 2005. You can find more accurate production date, if it has his original bracelet, by comparing the clasp codes. http://www.minus4plus6.com/numbers.htm |

Observant enthusiasts have determined that the F serial number prefix was first seen in around 2003 in the marketplace, and was continued for at least 3 more years into 2006 or beyond (it's just guesswork). It doesn't mean any more than this.

All the clasp code by all internet charts are just like the case charts a approx year when they were stamped. Now this does not always mean when they were made, then attached to bracelet, then to a watch head, then shipped around the world for sale.
