Old bulova parts
As some of you know I manage a pawn shop among other things. The other day I had a gentleman sell us a 14k bulova. The owner of the shop scraps such watches for the gold. That said I was able to retain the movement, dial, hands plexiglass crystal, and a neat band that has a scrolling calendar of 1973 and 1974. The movement is an 11af hand wind from the 60's. My question is is there a market for such things or do I keep them and play with them to further my watch education?

Bulova has a big following, first watch maker I knew worked for Bulova, they don't seem to be innovators, and the designs are knockoffs of other companies. But to answer your question IMHO people do want them, and they are simple and inexpensive way to teach your self a little bit about repairing mechanical watches
