Setting the time

Since you guys are so worried about the accuracy on your rolex's do you set them so they are spot on time or do you set them a minute or two faster?

Most of mine are a second or two fast, so I generally set them about a half minute behind. I figure they will catch up.....

Spot on, however, in real life situations, it really doesn't matter, whether it's spot on, or not. At home our clocks have different time--not synchronized.

When I take the train, the time at the station is different from my watch. When I get to work, the time on my phone & computer are different.

I firmly believe that, "time" in real life, is not spot on!

My 2 cents.

What is the correct way to set the minute hand?
Say you need to set it to 12:00, do you
1. set it at say 12:10 and then move it back to 12:00, or
2. set it at 11:50 and then move forward to 12:00?

I just set it at the same minute, never sync the secondhand.
