AP AD Thoughts - Manfredi
Hi all, was wondering if anyone in the New York or CT area has dealt with Manfredi in Greenwich, and can speak about the experience. I have spoken to them on the phone and dropped in the store a few times, but never have been seriously looking, just browsing. They have always been very nice and knowledgeable, much more so than most ADs, and never pushy.
Whenever I buy it is basically down to them versus the boutique, unless someone has another AD in that area that deals APs who they have had a favorable experience with. Any thoughts on Manfredi, and buying from them, where there would most likely be some sort of discount, versus the boutique where "no price accommodations can be made", but they do come with a 5 year warranty versus the standard 3 year. |

Rob at Manfredi is the most trustworthy person that I know in the entire watchbusiness.
There is nothing to worry about buying from them! |

I recently had a great experience with Artice at Cellini on Madison ave in nyc. Good deal on my 15400. Bonus is they have good stock of whatever you need aside from patek or rolex.
Cannot comment on Manfredi as I have not dealt with them. |

Al over at Armstrong Rockwell. They happen to be sponsors on time zone as well. I have bought several watches from them. Considering I reside overseas and was introduced to them through AP moderator - Howard Parr timezone. I have never even met him but all my transactions were super smooth and Al is extremely wonderful and helpful. I just referred someone to him and told him if you buying a product equivalent to a luxury sports car without personal one on one interaction than the client is being really looked after. You can visit them at www.armstrongrockwell.com and Al is available on 860-246-9858 - email: [email protected]

X 1000!!!! I am on the west coast and I have bought a couple watches from Rob. One was a preowned JLC, which came in better condition than I had hoped for. The other was a PP Aquanut I bought new for my wife. Again, came in perfect condition. I've communicated with Rob at Manfredi both by phone and via email. His email communication is quick in responsiveness. Finally, he has the best pricing on the market for me, which says a lot. I plan on buying many more pieces from him in the future. I concur with opinion about Rob. I have never purchased a watch from Manfredi but I have serviced watches with them. Nice people. Rob is very knowledgable about the watches they carry and always has the time to let me try on watches when I stop by. They offer reasonable discounts as well.
