How to care for your rose gold watch?

I am curious how most of you care or clean for your RG watches?

Are the procedures the same as having a stainless watch? Some warm water and soap to clean and use a cape cod pad to remove the scratches and polish?

Warm water and soap. Never ever try to polish an AP yourself.

The finishing is far too fine to be able to replicate it by hand with a cape cod. Too many finely brushed surfaces, crispy bevels etc

Not like cleaning up your gmt pcls...

I see! It makes sense when it's put that way. Thinking about it now, there isn't any RO or ROO with a polished surface that I can think of?

There are polished surfaces on the RO, for example around the perimeter of the bezel. Problem is that it is a tight space and I would not want a cape cod so close to the finely brushed surfaces surrounding it.

Right, it would be too hard to get in and detail it with the cloth. Professionally polished is the way to go here for sure.

Eh! If this isn't a joke question then it's no wonder there are so many f****d up APs.

If mine ever needs cleaning due to wearing for running or cycling then I use a small amount of mild soap and rinse it under the tap.

I bought a bottle a few months ago and used it. I could not tell the difference from mild soap and water, but I used it on an SS Sub. Both worked well. YMMV

I just used it and the best way to describe it is this : "Like a Shoe Shine Sponge " To me the greatest advantage is the practicality of it.
