Non Gv Black Dial Millgaus Availible!
Just to let anyone in the pacific northwest know that Brinkhaus on Georgia and Burrard in Vancouver has an above mentioned watch on display in the window!
Might be worth a visit to Vancouver, It looked really nice, out of my range at the moment though To the Mod's, hope it is ok to post this sort of thing, I am in no way connected with the jewlers, just want to give a heads up for anyone who is looking for this model! |

No worries Paulie, this is a great forum and I just want to help, Hope someone get's that beauty, it is the first one I have seen in the flesh and it looks stunning!, Next to it was a diamond and platinum day date!, saw the new yachtmaster as well, not my cup of tea though, a bit too big and contrived IMHO!

Well, I just saw a white-faced Milgauss at RDV in Toronto, if anyone's interested.
I am with you on the YachtMaster II, that was also on display. It is too big, too flashy and actually looks cheap and blocky instead of crisp and elegant. The short 'Regatta' hand is just ridiculous IMHO. So is the 'YachtMaster II' written on the bezel. Yuck! I did see something interesting. Going through the TONS of DJ's, I saw one with Roman numerals and the black 'sunburst' dial. This looks AMAZING...it just catches the light and the dial glints in slivers as you turn the watch in a bright light. A EFFECT is a bit like the fluted WG bezel, as different facets glint, but this is a very elegant, muted glint going radially over the dial...very nice! SNB |
