168000 Back From RSC! Pics inside
36 days. Thanks for all the support while I was having withdrawl pains.
Based on the R serial number I am guessing it is an 87. They replaced the dial $225, clasp $165, hands $42, $21 case tube and winding crown. Not sure if the new dial was a mistake because I think my old dial was tritium but the luminova is super bright! There are probably some opinions either way. I did have a scratch on the bezel and a small chip in the sapphire crystal which they said I declined to fix. The AD told me today that might have been on a second page that they missed. They asked me to resend I declined. I can live with the small chip in sapphire and can probably find an AD to switch the bezel as mine wouldn't do it. You can really see the scratch on the bezel on this one. I have a matching scar on my arm after that altercation. Just above it you can see a chip in the sapphire. Err buddy Fordex...Orchi too shall await the arrival of your 168000 pics in here...
Speaking of which...there is a nice "R" series 168000 purchased recently in New Jersey...which is currently being "admitted" the RSC in the NYC area...for 1st class routine check ups n servicing... Thereafter...it would be air-lifted 1/2 way across the globe to Malaysia...the land showered with Tropical sunshine n rainstorms...that has some of the world's best deep-sea diving sites...n coconut trees... |

SCRATCH / SCAR / ALTERCATION ??????????
Was this a bar dispute, fighting over the affections of a lovely lady, rescuing a damsel in distress? The watch looks great. The bezel should be relatively easy to get fixed and you got a brand new watch. Nice Job. Terry Newton
