I'm very confident it is a scam.
A stolen e-bay account. Daytona never had "Winner" printed on the back. The box and papers look fake to me. My advice is to stay away. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

Ask if he'll let you pay with three dollar bills in Atlantis currency. It'll be just as genuine as the watch

Well, that one didn't last long. It's gone already. Guess I missed out on another great deal.

Well no. see http://www.rolexforums.com/showpost.php?p=524768 post #6 onwards. The "Winner" thingie is a very very limited engraving to the winner of a Rolex sponsored Daytona race. If it was real, it should be like $30-40k. |

The watch is the most common type of Daytona counterfeit, and this one had been removed.

Not sure if the scammers are smart enough to do this. But why not combine several stolen accounts to build a current resume of cheap watches to build confidence of a real buyer?
