Turquoise faced Submariner

I am going back to about 1990-1 when I was working in Saudi. I used to frequent the Rolex dealers in Jeddah while looking for my first purchase. I always remember seeing this beautiful turquoise faced Submariner, I am sure it had a two tone bracelet and gold bezel.
I have never seen one since, are there any members who have seen or got this model. Just nice to see one again.

Probably a blue dial that went tropical.

Or a custom dial.

They do some "interesting" things to watches in the Mideast...

I believe all of the different colored dials were made for the Middle East market. I thought they were only for Day-Dates though. Never have seen one on a Sub.

Saw this on IG the other day, apparently a "singer" dial. Not turquoise, but definitely unique

that blue sub dial was a prototype, and so exceptionally rare
