Superocean 42 Q
Hi all,
First time posting on the brietling forum and as you can guess, I am considering buying one. Was originally gonna buy a submariner but decided to hold off on that for a few years. My question is can I buy a superocean 42 brushed not polished? Also I have smaller wrists but I am a decent size person. 6 foot 170 pounds. Do you think it would be too large? I'm also considering a perrelet seacraft or a seawolf avenger. Thoughts and pics appreciated! Thanks! Brendan |

Hi Brendan,
The SO 42 is a great watch. I have it in red with a custom shark strap and love it. I believe the bracelet only comes one way, but your AD or LJS can easily brush it professionally for you to make it look the way you would want. But FYI, the SO case is all polished except for the bezel numbers. I am 6' 180 with slender wrists and the watch works on my wrist. Go try it on and see how if feels on yours - that's the most important way to help decide.

I don't dive but I take it riding my bike around town. Loving it.

It's a shame they don't offer the SO brushed. Still a nice watch but WAY to shiny. Wish the bezel had a regular lume pip instead of the 60 at the 12 marker. All in all a decent watch when had on the used market. Love my SO steelfish, great finish and build quality.

So42
Just got my SO42 and am well pleased. Fits my 7.25" wrist comfortably. Great lume, easy to read. Looks smart on the polished bracelet but also cool on rubber. |
